Self Rising Flour Tip

If you find yourself in need of self rising flour and you don't have any here's what you can do:

Mix together 1 C all purpose flour, 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
and 1/2 tsp salt.

This will give you 1 C self rising flour.

I don't usually have self rising flour in my pantry since I don't use it that often. This is a good substitute for those random recipes that call for it.

You will not believe this but I was actually in need of this very tip!!!! Thanks. I hope it works for wheat flour. That is what I needed it for. I have never heard of self rising wheat flour and could not find it at the store so anyway I will try this.
